Carte Blanche for MS Mode et Luxe Students
Each year, the Mastère Spécialisé Management de la Mode et du Luxe builds one of its second-semester highlights around Carte Blanche. Far from a standard academic exercise, this small-group project challenges management students to experiment and think creatively explore the connections between thinking, creation and experimentation — culminating in a concrete production, whether an installation, an object, a live performance or a staged environment, that they design and present to their peers.
From six proposed themes, each group chooses a word that resonates with them and pushes their interpretation of it into tangible form. The exercise draws on critical thinking, creative instinct, and the ability to turn an idea into a fully realized experience.
The work doesn't stop at design: each group must also make the case for its choices before an audience — a jury of IFM faculty members, alongside the rest of the cohort, who turn out in force for every presentation.
