Alice Litscher is an art director and the associate director of the Fashion Image pathway of the Master of Arts at IFM, where she has been teaching since 2010. After working as an art director in the fields of art and fashion (Purple Fashion magazine, M/M (Paris), Please! magazine, Centre Pompidou…), she has been helping fashion image students develop their practice and find their place within the industry. Her research focuses on the representation of women and their emancipation through fashion and women’s media, as well as on the role of art direction in fashion imagery. She has published articles in IFM’s journal, the Pièces détachées journal, and in Antidote and Carcy magazines.
