Designed as a career accelerator, the program allows participants to acquire a strategic vision of the fashion and luxury industry, in or preparing for, top-level managerial positions.

Objectives

With five modules running over six months (2 on campus and 3 online), the AMP in Fashion & Luxury is a 100hr faculty-led learning program, designed to elevate the expertise of professionals in the luxury, fashion and beauty industries.

  • Deepen your understanding of the key challenges facing the fashion and luxury industry today - from how the sector is responding to global instability and regional realities, to shifts in consumerism and the consequences of systemic changes.
  • Acquire strategic insights into how these issues are evolving, and what lies on the horizon in terms of the opportunities they present.
  • Benefit from unparalleled industry exposure to develop leading-edge management strategies and effective leadership skills.
  • Develop and reinforce your analytical and critical skills in order to tackle these issues from an executive standpoint.
  • Develop your network in the fashion & luxury sectors.

Pedagogy

The pedagogy mixes two non-consecutive weeks of classes on the IFM Paris campus (70 hours), complemented by 40 hours of self-paced online classes, always supervised by the faculty through synchronous bi-monthly collective feedback sessions. You can watch the online content at your own pace. At the end of each module, you are given a ‘Reflection and Application Case’ to work on independently and to submit to the faculty 15 days later.

You will also benefit from a class in the metaverse, to understand how this space has become a playground for fashion and luxury brands.

The workload includes between 10 and 15 hours of autonomous work between each session.

At the end of the program, you will take part in an immersive business case where, for two days on the IFM Paris campus, you will tackle a real-life problem. This case will allow you to put into practice all the knowledge you will have acquired during the program. These two days of immersion will cumulate in a written report, which will be presented orally to a jury of fashion and luxury experts.
