IFM and Dior Launch Sustainability Leadership Programme

Christian Dior Couture and the Institut Français de la Mode have launched the Sustainability Fashion Leadership Programme, an initiative co-designed by the two institutions to support Dior's employees in addressing the challenges of the environmental transition. The launch took place in late May at the House's historic boutique at 30 Avenue Montaigne.

The program combines international conferences featuring prominent speakers, online training modules, and a one-year certified track. A first cohort of 23 employees, drawn from more than fifteen professions — from merchandising to the studio, finance, legal, and digital — is following this curriculum, built around four modules: regulation, responsible sourcing and manufacturing, traceability, biodiversity, eco-design, circularity, climate, and sustainable performance. Participants also receive individual coaching to develop projects for implementation within their own teams.

This unprecedented project builds on initiatives already undertaken by Dior to engage and mobilize its employees, and aligns with the House's Dream in Green environmental roadmap as well as the LVMH group's LIFE 360 program.

IFM played an active role in shaping the program's pedagogical content and in its launch. Andrée-Anne Lemieux, Director of Sustainability at IFM, and Stéphane Piot, Associate Professor, spoke alongside Dior's leadership — Olivier Sastre, Deputy Managing Director in charge of Human Resources and Sustainable Development, and Clément Lefevre, Chief Sustainability Officer — as well as Pascal Morand, Executive President of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. Their remarks underscored the importance of training and engaging employees to turn the environmental transition into a genuine lever for action, at every level of the business.

This partnership reflects IFM's expertise in executive education: designing tailored programs in collaboration with companies across the industry that address their real-world development needs, grounded in shared experience, hands-on learning, and case studies drawn directly from the field.
