From a standard pattern (either a three armhole dress, a kimono dress or a tailor dress), you will create your own model and understand why the little black dress has been inspirational to so many fashion designers.


  • Discover fashion culture
  • Learn how to read a pattern and make basic adjustments
  • Learn to choose a fabric that matches the chosen model
  • Understand the logic of gradation and size
  • Learn how a garment is assembled
  • Master the sewing machine with simple seams


  • The Little Black Dress in the history of fashion
  • Vocabulary and application of the different finishings: open seam, English seam, bias, sheath lining...
  • Choosing fabrics for the chosen shapes
  • Reading a pattern and working on sizes
  • Cutting and assembly of the chosen model on an industrial machine


At the end of the program, a certificate of attendance is issued to participants who have attended all the courses

To register, simply fill out the online form. Upon receipt of the online form, the application is reviewed by the Summer School team. Once the application has been accepted, an email is sent specifying the payment schedule (deposit and balance of registration fees). Final enrollment is only effective after payment of the deposit.
